Dr Aleisha Gorski is a specialist Gynaecologist whose professional path to date has collectively shaped her experience to develop exceptionally high personal standards.

Born and bred in Melbourne, Dr Gorski began her medical journey completing a Bachelor of Science (Hons) at Melbourne University and a Bachelor of Pharmacy at LaTrobe University, Bendigo. She continued her medical path of study at Notre Dame University in Fremantle, WA, obtaining a Bachelor of Medicine/Bachelor of Surgery, before returning to Melbourne to work in her chosen field.

Dr Gorski has a sound surgical background, having completed two years of accredited General Surgery training before her interests led her to Obstetrics and Gynaecology. She undertook her Obstetrics and Gynaecology specialist training at the Royal Women’s Hospital and Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital, Melbourne, and is a Fellow of the Royal Australian College of Obstetricians and Gynaecologist.

Dr Gorski has a strong interest in teaching the next generation of doctors, holding an appointment as Hospital Medical Officer (junior doctor) supervisor at Joan Kirner Women’s and Children’s Hospital. She enjoys teaching medical students, as well as registrars on their path to becoming specialist Obstetrician and Gynaecologists.

Dr Gorski is dedicated to excellence in health care delivery to women and their families. She enjoys meeting new people and focuses on patient-centered care to ensure her patients have a thorough understanding of their condition and have an active involvement in their management plan. Outside of her work commitments, Dr Gorski enjoys spending time with her family, including her three wonderful children. Staying physically active is an important part of Dr Gorski’s life, ensuring she has an abundance of energy to assist patients on their gynaecological journey.
